Huda Ayad
Huda Ayad has been teaching Qur’an, Islamic studies, and Arabic to non-native speakers for three years. She holds an Ijazah in Qur’anic recitation according to the Hafs narration, as well as Ijazahs in several foundational religious textbooks.
She also holds a diploma in Islamic science from the Ministry of Awqaf’s Da’wah Preparation Institute, a CCTAFL certificate from the American University in Cairo (AUC), and a diploma in teaching Tajweed.
Although she prefers teaching adults, she is also capable of working with children. She can communicate in English professionally, besides basic communication in French.
Her academic background is in medicine, but about five years ago, she chose to make a career shift into teaching Arabic to non-native speakers online.
Her hobbies include proofreading, translation, and voice-over work; she also enjoys using Maqamat (melodic modes) in Qur’anic recitation and religious chanting.
